Christmas 2023 Shipping

To ensure Christmas delivery of in-stock puzzles, orders must be placed by the specified dates:

CANADA December 12
ONTARIO December 18
HAMILTON* December 22

Purple Peacock Puzzles uses Canada Post as our chosen shipping provider. While we commit to making timely drop-offs to ensure our products are dispatched before Canada Post's designated Christmas 2023 cut-off date, we regretfully cannot guarantee delivery by that time due to potential unforeseen circumstances beyond our control that may impact the shipping process.

Shipping

We are currently shipping to Canadian addresses only, using Canada Post. We now offer flat rate $12 shipping on all orders within Ontario and Quebec using Canada Post's Expedited Parcel service. You can also choose from Priority or Xpresspost shipping for faster shipping times. The prices for each shipping method is listed at check-out. Shipping costs for parcels shipping to the rest of Canada (outside of Ontario/Quebec) will be calculated at check-out. The following chart shows estimated shipping times for each option:

Please allow up to 2 additional business days to process your order prior to shipping. For items that are custom made to order, please allow additional processing time.

All items are shipped from Hamilton, Ontario.

We are unable to ship to addresses outside Canada at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Local Drop-off

Local drop-off is now available for Hamilton, Ontario addresses only. Items will be delivered in a no-contact manner, in keeping with Public Health recommendations. There is no charge for this delivery method.

 

Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchanges will be accepted within 14 days of purchase for non-custom items that are still in their original packaging, and have not been damaged. The customer is responsible for any shipping or additional costs associated with returning or exchanging the item.

We regret that we are not able to offer returns or refunds on custom orders, including all customized puzzles, custom name puzzles, special requests, Custom Creations, and commissions.

For products with defects in material or craftsmanship, please contact info@purplepeacockpuzzles.ca and include photos of the affected area(s). Each instance will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that there may be some discoloration of the puzzle over time, which may be especially noticeable on lightly-coloured pieces. This is caused by the natural finish, and is not considered a defect with the product.

Each puzzle is cut by hand, and as such, pieces will only fit into the puzzle they were originally cut from, into the space they were cut from, and in the direction/orientation they were cut.

As these puzzles are made from wood products, you may notice knots or discolouration in the wood grain. These natural features of the wood add to the uniqueness of our products, and contribute to the one-of-a-kind charm of all of our puzzles.
